Calamity Jane Rides Into Town |

Calamity Jane - the celebrated musical play of the Wild West - rides into Dunbar on the 25th of March, for 3 nights of rootin'-tootin', rip-roarin' fun, music and romance.
The play, based on the famous Warner Bros film staring Doris Day and Howard Keel, will be at the Dunbar Grammar School the nights of the 25th, 26th and 27th of March.
The Dunbar Lyric Group will be presenting the play, with some well-loved familiar faces, but also a whole crop of new musical theatre stars. Read More

Belhaven Surf Club is celebrating its 5th year of running in 2010. The Club was founded in 2005 to provide a base in South East Scotland where surfers of all standards have the opportunity to meet other surfers of similar ability, to socialise and have fun in the waves!
New season starts April 4th with first club meet for Social Surf.

Dunbar United win after 100 days without a game |

Dunbar United were thrown a last minute fixture change, and played West Calder at home on Saturday. Our boys won 4-3 in an exciting match that the Dunbar players must have been desparate to play. Reports etc on www.dunbarunited.org |

Sustaining Dunbar - Leave the car at home? |
Another in our series of Winter film/discussion evenings. Sustaining Dunbar presents an evening discussion on transport options for the future, on SATURDAY 27 FEBRUARY at 7PM in the GIBB ROOM, DUNBAR LIBRARY.
There will be a short documentary which questions whether we can keep on driving as oil prices rise, followed by a chance to air your thoughts on how we can make Dunbar a better place for people on foot, bikes, buses and trains
The discussion will be followed at 8.30pm by a meeting of Sustaining Dunbar’s Transport Group which has been working for two years to improve walking, cycling and public transport in and around Dunbar.Hope to see you there.

Dunbar Primary School Read-a-thon |

This week Dunbar Primary School is launching their second annual Read-a-thon. Pupils will be getting their pupil packs and looking for sponsors! You can sponsor a pupil for how many hours they read, how many books they read or you can just donate a set amount.
The reading will begin on March 5th so get set to see children all over Dunbar with their noses in books! All the money raised goes right back into the school and will be used to buy books and resources to encourage improved lieracy.

Taekwon-do martial arts brothers Gavin & Brad Robertson returned from their trip to Penarth, South Wales, after competing in the WELSH CHAMPIONSHIPS on Sunday 21st Feb bringing home two Gold & one Silver medal between them. click read more
