East Lothian antiquarian and Field naturalists Society held there annual dinner in the Maitlandfield Hotel Haddington on Friday 16th of April
At the conclusion of a most enjoyable meal the HNM Lord Lieutenant of Eat Lothian Sir W Garth Morrison KT CBE gave a most interesting address on the history of the Lords Lieutenant and the role of the Lieutenancy in modern times.
The next activity of the Society is a visit to Ayton castle on the 1st May. |

Star Walkies Dog Walking and Pet Services is helping taking the HOUNDS to make POUNDS in aid of West Barns Youth Club.
The young people at West Barns Youth Club would like to raise some funds for their under resourced youth club. A sponsered dog walk around John Muir Country Park will take place at 6pm on Friday 7th May 2010 supported by STAR WALKIES. (read more)
