What are these POO flags and posters all about? This weekend a small group of residents have collectively taken action on the dog fouling problem Dunbar with a flagging, postering and chalking exercise. We only managed to flag a few key areas - High St, Harbour, JMCP, Winterfield etc and ran out of flags and posters and were staggered that over 100 poos were found in the Knocknhair Road area!!!!!!  Read More

Winter is the worst time of year for dog fouling and whilst there are some persistant foulers who will never change their minds about cleaning up after their dog, we hope to make other dog owners think twice about walking away from their dog's mess and come out better prepared in future. In addition, we'd like residents to be vigilant to the problem and report any foulers to the police or Community Warden as it is a fineable offence.

Flags will be removed by Monday night incase you're worried about the litter! Thank you so much for your support this weekend and hopefully, even though a drop in the ocean, some people will think TWICE about leaving dog poo lying around the town.
